This paper discusses suspicion as one of the reasons that prevent the punishment of the offender in terms of its definition and evidence of legitimacy and its effect on the legal legislations and their divisions. It also discusses the most important suspicions and the dispute raised among the Muslim scholars about the cancellation of punishment with suspicion or not. The conclusion reached emphasized the need for reviewing the mechanism of the legislation of punishment and compensation (Deaiah).
