A Fundamental and Descriptive Reading of the Similarity of Religious Rites and the Characteristics of Society between Tunisia and Algeria through the Literature of Travelers as A Model

This study is considered an embodied example of the role of the regional dimension in weaving a pattern of rapprochement between peoples, especially in their social and religious fields, as the research paper confirmed that faith and religion are the main engines of the structure of every society and state throughout the ages, where historical or literary writings were based on giving the close-up and descriptive image of each country, which was based on the common characteristics in its society and the problem of its identity, which was represented in the popular heritage, and among the topics highlighted through the research paper Extracting the analyses of the Algerian and Tunisian societies, which were based in their components on religion with its teachings, and this formed an Islamic culture and dimension for the Maghreb countries, especially Algeria and Tunisia, and the travelers were among those who brought down the curtain by tracking the pilgrimages that revealed the common religious dimension of these countries, but this interaction and similarity between the Algerian and Tunisian peoples embodied the qualities saturated with a deep and inherent culture, characterized by many customs and traditions to include social, cultural, urban and religious aspects, as the religious trips to science and pilgrimage produced similarities and entanglements. The social and cultural customs and traditions in the two societies, the most important of which are traditional dress, social events between the two countries, which are characterized by the authentic Arab Islamic character, and it reduces the civilizational identity distinguished by its richness and openness of civilization, and from this proposition we cite the following problem: To what extent are the religious and social characteristics compatible between Tunisia and Algeria, according to what was put forward in literary historical writings and what travelers wrote?
