Proposal for Field Training for Students of Libraries and Information Departments

A Study about the Library and Information Department in Zawya University

Abstract

This study aims at addressing the field training topic and determining what it should include; using the case study methodology. The data collection form was used as a data collection tool and distributed among faculty members who taught field training. The field training time is 4.36%, and the capacity and tools are weak. The study provides a proposed plan for a field training program for improving the level of the department graduates which can be used as a guide for similar departments in Libya.
