Advertising and Commercials and their Legal Regulations in the Shariah

The study aims to shed light on the concept of advertising and commercials and to explain its legitimacy through the application of some general regulations. A descriptive-analytical approach was used in this study in discussing the concept of advertising, its forms and objectives and in explaining the restrictions and regulations that control them. The study concludes that advertising is permitted and lawful if it is honestly used for enhancing the customer’s awareness about products and their quality. However, misleading and dishonest advertising is unlawful and illegal as it often results in customer deception.Downloads
