The concept of rationality in philosophical thought

This paper discuses the notions of reason and rationality in philosophical thinking.
The author cited the opinions of some philosophers, scientists, and writers on the role of reason and rationality in changing a person's perspective from adherence to old traditions and customs towards modernity, modernization, and development. This change also involves balancing all issues with reason and rationality, and advancing the mind through access to technology, technical science, and other sciences that help societies in progress and move toward a new , modern world in which freedom thinking is granted with no consideration of all traditional beliefs and heritage.
