Abstract

The state of Chad, a weak African state, has become a focus of interest for the major colonial powers in a changing world that is stormed by the great powers more than before, especially America, France, Russia, and China. In addition to the declared role of the Israeli occupied state in Chad, which prompted decision-makers in the occupied state to find a foothold in one of the African countries important to the Israeli strategy in Africa. The Mossad (The Institute for Intelligence and Special Operations) played an important role in infiltrating some African and Arab countries. What some officials of the two countries are raising, such as the first visit made by former President Idriss Debby to Tel Aviv on November 25, 2018, after the severing of relations between them lasted for forty-four years, and his son, Mohamed Idriss Debby, the current president of the State of Chad, visited Israel on February 2, 2023, to open his country's embassy in Tel Aviv. It is the result of what the two parties have worked on over the past years, in terms of secret communications between the two parties. The Israeli presence and attempt to extend its relations with sub-Saharan countries reinforces Arab fears of it. The reason I believe, as a researcher in this study, is due to the absence of a strong Arab Islamic anti-Zionist role and the attempt of Israeli to contain many African countries, especially East African countries such as the Horn of Africa and East African countries, which paved the way for the Zionist entity to exist and fill the void left by some Arab countries that were active in the African continent.
