Mental Health and its Relation to Psychological Compatibility among Teaching Staff in the Faculty of Education, Zulton

This studyaims to investigate the relationship between the mental health level and the psychological compatibility among the teaching staff in the Faculty of Education in Zulton. The data of this study was collected through a questionnaire distributed among 52 members who represent (80%) of the total 59 staff in the faculty. The results of this study indicate that the level of mental health of the female faculty members is higher than that of males and that it is higher among the PhD holders than the master holders. It is also shown that there are no significant statistical differences in the levels of mental health among the sample due to gender or academic qualifications. On the contrary, experience has shown to have a significant impact on the level of mental health among the participants. The correlation relationship between the mental health and the psychological compatibility has been also revealed through the findings of this study.
