The Relationship between the Public Employee and Administration in the Libyan Law

Abstract

The research aims to shed light on defining the public employee and to show his relationship with the administration in the Libyan law. The research adopted the legal descriptive approach to achieve this goal. The relationship has been described as contractual and abiding to the general law and the law no. (12) for the year 2010 regarding the issuance of the current labor relations law. The research concluded that the employment relationship between the public administration and the employee is contractual and that it is in a statutory and regulatory state subject to the public law.
