Abstract

This study aimed to identify the processes of knowledge management and its relationship with institutional performance in Zawia Teaching Hospital. In order to achieve the objectives, the study followed the descriptive analytical method by using a questionnaire for data collection. The questionnaire was distributed to (40) employees including managers, head of departments and a group of employees, and (36) questionnaires returned complete representing (90%). The Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) was used for analyzing the data by measuring percentages and averages arithmetic and standard deviations and the (T) test. The results of the study revealed that the level of availability of knowledge management processes including (generation, storage, sharing and application knowledge) in Zawia Teaching Hospital was average, and that there is a statistically significant relationship between knowledge management processes (generation, storage, sharing and application knowledge) and institutional performance in Zawia Teaching Hospital.
