Palestinian Economy Development Diagnosis (2000-2018)

The study aimed at diagnosing the economic development in Palestine by analyzing a number of economic indicators. Based on the economic analysis supported by the statistical analysis, the paper concluded that the Palestinian economy is relatively unstable and is characterized by a cyclical nature of economic slowdown and uncertainty in the future. Unemployment, per capita income and public debt levels in parallel with political instability. Accordingly, the paper recommended that the economic supervision tools be re-adjusted by adapting them to the specificities of the Palestinian economy and the geopolitical changes surrounding the country. This will allow for a smooth economic resumption and will undoubtedly lay the cornerstone for a stable Palestinian economy independent of the issues of nations and the intensification of external changes.
